You do not need to create an account to use Convertly. When you convert a file, our servers process:

• The file you upload and the file produced by the conversion,
• The file's name, size and type,
• A one-way, non-reversible hash of your IP address, used to prevent abuse — your actual IP address is not stored in our database,
• The time of the operation and the conversion tool you selected.

2. File Storage

Files you upload and convert are stored temporarily on our servers only so you can download them, and are automatically and permanently deleted after a maximum of 7 (seven) days. See our Terms of Use for details. Your files are not shared with third parties; they can only be downloaded through a private, unguessable link generated for you.

3. Cookies and Advertising

To keep the service free, our site may use third-party advertising networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may place cookies in your browser and process device/visit information to show ads relevant to your interests. You can review Google's own privacy policy for details on how it handles advertising-related data. You can reject or delete cookies through your browser settings.

4. Purpose of Data Use

The limited data we collect is used only to provide the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot technical issues, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Your Rights

Since your files are automatically deleted within 7 days at the latest, a separate deletion request is usually unnecessary. You're still welcome to contact us with any questions.
